Video: Griffiths and Klimala score as Celtic leave it late in Perth

CELTIC left it late to win in Perth and it was the substitutes that delivered the hammer blow to Callum Davidson’s St Johnstone. The striking duo were subbed on to try and break down a stubborn Saints defence and they made their impact with the clock at 90 mins.

Leigh Griffiths met Elhamed’s cross to give a valuable three points to the Scottish Champions as they move to the top of the table, at least until this evening. There was another goal as Patryk Klimala was clattered in attack before bouncing back up and slotting the ball beyond Zander Clark.

Neil Lennon won’t be that happy with what he saw but a win is a win and that is all that matters. It will do Celtic the world of good having Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths back fit and in the first team.
