CELTIC put on a show yesterday with a 5-0 thrashing of Ross County. Goals from three strikers and two defenders completed the rout as Neil Lennon’s side returned from the International break.
Dingwall can be a tough place to go but Celtic had their lead early on when Odsonne Edouard was fouled in the penalty box. The Frenchman stepped up and dispatched his pen into the bottom corner, stranding the goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw. A second goal came as Albian Ajeti’s poacher’s finish from a missed clearance made it 3 from 3 for the Swiss International.
Despite chances being created by Ross County, Vasilis Barkas made some solid stops – which will help his confidence. After the break, Celtic stepped up a gear with Duffy and Ajer scoring before Klimala grabbed a 5th.
