Video: Highlights from Pittodrie as Leigh Griffiths Grabs a Stoppage Time Equaliser for Celtic

Well at least we didn’t lose yet another game we should have won comfortably. Leigh Griffiths showing Odsonne Edouard how it’s done with his header in the last few seconds of stoppage time at Pittodrie to level the scores after Celtic had conceded – yet again – from a set play with Lewis Ferguson heading Aberdeen into a lead on 19 minutes against the run of play.

Odsonne Edouard did have the ball in the net but the flag went up – Aberdeen TV didn’t bother to check if it was a correct decision or not but he certainly looked to be onside. The French striker could and should have had a hat-trick but as David Potter points out this morning on The Celtic Star, he simply cannot buy a goal as his time at Celtic comes to a underwhelming close.

Willie Collum could have given Aberdeen a penalty but the decision looked to be correct (unusually) and perhaps David Turnbull should have had a red rather than a yellow for his petulant kick.

Value for money for the £12.99 invested it was not but we did get to see the former Aberdeen legend Willie Garner as a pundit on Red TV. Willie’s season at Celtic as a central defender was even worse that Shane Duffy’s and I know because I was there! Check it out on The Celtic Wiki…
