Video: ‘I Would Tell Them To Come Round And See My Trophy,’ Scott Brown Responds To Prospect Of Tainted Title Claims

In a BT Sport interview between Chris Sutton and Scott Brown, the Celtic skipper was asked about his thoughts on the situation concerning football and the coronavirus.

The Captain said that if he were in Rangers’ shoes then he would accept Celtic as champions, having lost ground to the tune of 13 points since January. When pushed to respond to claims from some that the title would be tainted if the season is not completed, Broony said: “I would tell them to come round and see my trophy.”

Celtic were 13 points clear when Coronavirus forced the games to be postponed indefinitely and now, it is believed that Celtic will be crowned Champions on Monday. The last time Celtic won the league on a Monday was 1979 when ten won the league – beating Rangers 4-2 at Celtic Park.
