Video – Jeremie Frimpong releases brilliant breakthrough season highlights

JEREMIE FRIMPONG has been one of the many highlights from the 2019/20 season. Signed from Manchester City with little fanfare, the Dutch youngster broke through into the Celtic first team and proved himself to be a brilliant asset for the club.

Frimpong has taken to his social media account to release a video by ScoutHub, detailing some of his many highlights from this season. The 19-year-old has made 19 appearances, scoring 2 goals as Neil Lennon’s side marched towards another treble.

Frimpong has to be regarded as one of the best bits of business by Celtic in recent seasons. His development and rapid rise is testament to the work of the scouting department as well as the coaching staff.

Frimpong earned his first piece of silverware in the Betfred Cup triumph back in December – even if the youngster was sent off for fouling Alfredo Morelos.

Hopefully in the coming days Frimpong will be able to add a Premiership winners medal to his debut season’s plunders. As supporters, it will be exciting next season to watch his development.
