It turns out that Celtic didn’t even need to select their strongest XI to beat Rennes tonight.
The French side had produced the occasional scare and forced a magnificent save from Fraser Forster, but Mikey Johnston has ensured the points will belong to Celtic tonight.
He combines beautifully with Olivier Ntcham before driving past the defence and producing a fine finish beyond the keeper:

The finish is almost reminiscent of James Forrest at his best. Some of the fringe players have really stepped it up tonight, so Lenny might have some decisions to make for the game on Sunday.
