Video: Juranovic scores excellent free-kick as fine post-Celtic form continues

Josip Juranovic has continued his fine form since leaving Celtic by scoring a fine goal in the Europa League. The Union Berlin defender scored an excellent free-kick in the 3-3 draw with Union Saint-Gilloise.

The Croatian Internationalist joined Celtic from Legia Warsaw in the summer of 2021 for just £2.5m but leaves after making 52 appearances, scoring twice and winning two trophies.

It appears that the Bundesliga will be pleased with the acquisition, which was worth around £9m. The high-flying Union will be keen to continue their impressive form as they pose an unlikely assault on the German top flight with a view to breaking Bayern Munich’s monopoly on the game. Currently, they are sat in third place, five points behind Bayern and Borussia Dortmund.
