One of Celtic’s new recruits, Hyeokkyu Kwon has given his first interview to Celtic TV, where he gives us an insight into the kind of role he will undertake at Celtic.
Kwon describes himself as a ‘fighter’ within the midfield, as he can join and aid the attack whilst also carrying out his defensive duties. He makes reference to the attacking players already within Celtic, as he looks forward to joining them for next season’s campaign. The South Korean midfielder told Celtic TV…
“My type is a fighter because my position is a defensive midfielder. I’m passing in front. I am well aware that there are a lot of good players at Celtic and very offensive team players and because I’m a defensive midfielder I am pretty sure that I can be a great support to these offensive attackers, and because I can also attack and be offensive myself, I expect to see a lot of synergy and teamwork”
