Video – Last Time Celtic Hosted KR Reykjavik

Celtic host KR Reykjavik in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers tonight and the circumstances are obviously unusual with everything in the world thanks to the battle against Covid-19. The clubs last met back in 2014 and circumstances were again very unusual as Celtic’s home leg was moved to Murrayfield after Paradise had hosted the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth games.

Going into the game with a 1-0 lead thanks to Callum McGregor’s debut goal in Iceland, Celtic brushed aside their opponent’s with a 4-0 victory.

Teemu Pukki and Virgil Van Dijk scored a brace each as the Bhoys ran riot on a sunny July evening in the capital.
