Scotland left it late to beat Israel in a huge win for the nation’s World Cup hopes. After trailing at half-time, Lyndon Dykes evened things up as Scotland then pushed for the goal that would take them into the lead.
Scott McTominay popped up at the back post and managed to guide a knockdown from Jack Hendry. The Manchester United midfielder couldn’t miss, giving the Scots a four-point cushion over Israel in second place.
Celtic captain Callum McGregor was phenomenal in the middle of the park along with a number of his former colleagues. The team can be proud of their efforts.
YES SIR, I CAN BOOGIE! 🕺
Hampden Park is absolutely bouncing as Scotland bag a crucial three points with victory over Israel! 🏴
