Video: Lennoxtown under new management , Joe Hart on Celtic’s ‘exceptional guy’

The official Celtic YouTube channel uploaded an ‘unfiltered’ video of the Celtic players training at Lennoxtown under the recently re-appointed manager Brendan Rodgers.

With the recent return of Brendan to Celtic, and the quickly approaching season ahead, the Bhoys are back at Lennoxtown for their pre-season training. The routine at Lennoxtown however, has now changed, due to the very different coaching styles of the new boss and Ange Postecoglou who left to join Tottenham days after completing the Treble for the Hoops. While Ange was more distant at training, watching over the players, Brendan Rodgers is as you can see very much involved with the players as they train.

With this new approach to training, and the closer presence of Brendan Rodgers, it’s hoped that the players will go up to another level. Hopefully, we will see the effects soon as the Hoops travel to Japan for their pre-season tour and there may be a trip to Ireland thrown in too!

Earlier today Joe Hart spoke for the Celtic players when discussing the arrival of the new manager to replace Ange Postecoglou.  The Celtic goalkeeper certainly appears very pleased at the arrival of Brendan Rodgers as the new manager of Celtic.

“We’ve only been together a couple of days now but he’s an exceptional guy, I’ve had a few dealings with him in the past as an opponent and actually bumped into him on holiday a couple of times,” Joe Hart said.

“He’s a very successful manager, he stood us altogether and told us how proud he was for what we achieved last year but that we need to build on it and keep going. You can tell he absolutely loves the club but he can separate being a fan to being a manager here, he’s made it clear we are here to work and be successful.

I am looking forward to working with him,” Joe Hart said. You can watch his media conference from earlier today below….
