Liam Scales gave Celtic the lead with an excellent first half header. The Irish Internationalist rose to convert a whipped Arne Engles corner, sending Celtic Park into a state of euphoria.
Scales, who partnered Cameron Carter-Vickers in the Starting XI, did well to control the header goal wards, especially given the pace on the ball.

Celtic have been dominant but have struggled to find a second goal. Kyogo has missed two chances, as has Daizen Maeda. The manager will hope his side can be more effective in front of goal in the second half.
