Video: Liel Abada scores crucial opener for Celtic

Liel Abada gave Celtic a vital lead in this evening’s game against FC Midtjylland. The Israeli, on his first competitive start, scored after Ryan Christie’s effort was saved by the goalkeeper. The £3.5m signing made no mistake and gave the 9k Celtic supporters something to celebrate.

Christie and Abada almost combined moments before but the Scottish attacking midfielder was denied by the post before sending a half-chance over the bar. Abada has shown a lot of promise in the opening half of his competitive Celtic debut.
