Video: Liel Abada scores stunner for Israel U21s

Liel Abada has really taken to life in Glasgow’s East End. The 20-year-old arrived from Maccabi Petah Tikva F.C in a deal worth £4m and is surely in for a shout for the Young Player of the Year accolade both at the club and across the country.

Abada has scored 14 goals and assisted 11 times for Celtic and continued his fine form for the Israeli U21s. He drove a stunning effort into the top corner to level up the scoring vs Poland U21 in their crucial UEFA U21 Euro’s qualifier.

The game finished 2-2, Israel now face Germany as they look to seal a place at the U21s tournament.
