Celtic went into the break 1-0 to the good over a dogged Ross County side thanks to a goal from Callum McGregor.
The midfielder stepped up to the spot after Mikey Johnston was fouled by County’s Watson trying to control a pass from Jozo Simunovic.
Kevin Clancy obliged the calls from the Celtic Park faithful and pointed to the spot.
McGregor’s low drive beat Baxter to give Celtic the lead.
