It’s ten years since Shunsuke Nakamura left Celtic, so you would be forgiven for thinking he might have been long retired by now – think again.
He’s still scoring incredible goals in Japan. His time at Espanyol was disappointing after leaving Glasgow so many thought that his return to Japan would last for a couple of years before fading into retirement.
It does seem that his age has forced him to drop into the second tier, but he’s still scoring incredible goals:

He’s not even remotely the youngest player at the club. “King Kazu” Kazuyoshi Miura is still playing at the age of 52. He made his professional debut in 1990 – let that one sink in.
It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on the Yokohama games for the rest of the season to see if Nakamura has any more magic moments up his sleeve.
