Video: New Bhoys train at Lennoxtown ahead of Dublin showdown with Wolves

Celtic have released footage of our new signings training at Lennoxtown as the Bhoys prepare to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Saturday afternoon at 2pm. It promises to be a stern test before we play Athletic Club from Bilbao in James Forrest’s Testimonial this coming Tuesday before the Scottish Premiership starting.

After their foray into Asia on a Japanese tour – which should have included South Korea but for some terrible organisation by the promoters – the Hoops arrived back at their Headquarters in the Campsies to start more work before the season kicks off in earnest on Saturday, 5 August against Ross County.

New signings Yang Hyun-jun and Kwon Hyeok-kyu are pictured in the video footage release by Celtic TV, but there seems to be no sign of Maik Nawrocki in this one. Hopefully its nothing to worry about and the big Polish centre-back is either just not been captured in the footage or away organising final details about his move.

The clock is ticking closer and closer now to the beginning of the new campaign, where we will be looking to maintain our grip on domestic football. A Treble win last year was an excellent way to end the season and this year we will be hoping to push for the same whilst making process in European competition.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
