He’s alright, this Ange Postecoglou fella, isn’t he?
It is such a far cry from the tepid and vile football that Neil Lennon was playing just under a year ago in the Europa League qualifiers, as Celtic have shown that they can actually play football and take on the bigger names in European football.
Having taken time to adapt to Angeball, it was unfortunate that Midtjylland probably came too soon in terms of transfers, quarantine and tactic familiarity. However, it is all coming to the fore now as the Bhoys are romping on in terms of securing European football.
A brilliant first half has not been let up by Postecoglou’s men; an insanely high press into the Alkmaar half was capitalised on by David Turnbull, and his lay-off to Kyogo Furuhashi gave the Japanese international time to find Forrest.
The wee man turned on a sixpence, choosing his weaker left foot, but via a wicked deflection he wrong-footed the keeper to send Celtic 2-0 up.
Not the prettiest of finishes, but one that was brought about by some quality pressing and work off the ball. Get in!

Starfelt is a poor defender and will cost Celtic points. He is a Swedish Efe Ambrose. Celtic will need to score 3 in every game to win if he stays in the team. If they sign Scales he may need to go straight in.
