Video – Post Match Scenes at Hampden as Gerry McCulloch trolls Kyle Lafferty

Watch as Gerry McCulloch trolls lanky Kilmarnock forward Kyle Lafferty on Celtic TV for his assist in Celtic’s opener in the Scottish League Cup Final win over Derek McInnes’s side at a rain-soaked Hampden Park last night.

McInnes has not had the chance to play the former Rangers and Hearts player for several months as Lafferty had been serving a ten-match ban for his sectarian abuse directed towards some Celtic supporters.

There was zero remorse shown by this Northern Ireland internationalist, just a desperation to get back in time to play against Celtic and get involved in the goals. Well he certainly did that but perhaps not quite as he planned as Daizen Maeda said ありがとう (Arigatō) on his way past to celebrate his goal and Lafferty’s assist.

Thanks Kyle, it was fun while it lasted. McInnes though didn’t see the funny side of this horseplay from the big man just having a Laff, so he hauled him off at half-time for an inglorious end to his dream return against the team he loves to hate for all the wrong reasons.

Watch and enjoy…
