Video: Rogic involved with Australia goal as he celebrates 50th Socceroo cap

Tom Rogic celebrated his 50th cap for Australia today with a typical contribution from the Celtic midfielder. Hibernian Martin Boyle found the net after Rogic’s glide and cut back found Taggart, who saw his shot saved by the goalkeeper in the Oman nets.

Rogic played 63 mins before making way for Aaron Mooy, another man that was linked with a move to Celtic.

The 28-year-old decided against playing for Australia in the summer to focus on getting himself fit for the beginning of the new season. This decision, coupled with the arrival of former Socceroos boss Postecoglou, sparked a revival of the classy playmaker. Rogic has played 18 times so far this season, scoring once and racking up three assists; however, he has been a big part of the football Postecoglou is trying to play.
