Former Celtic manager Ronny Deila watched on as his New York City FC side claimed the MLS Cup in dramatic circumstances last night. A penalty shoot-out win over Portland gave New York City the cup, sparking tears of joy from Deila on the sidelines.

However, the Norwegian rallied and held his side of the bargain – stripping off to celebrate in front of the supporters.
NYCFC Head Coach Ronny Deila promised supporters when he was hired that he would celebrate shirtless if his team won the MLS Cup.
The former @CelticFC manager kept his promise 😂

Ronny won 2 titles and 1 league cup in his time in Glasgow and played a role in the side’s push towards 9IAR. He will be welcomed back with open arms any time and it is only right that the role that he played in developing the club has been accepted and is widely recognised.
