Europa Conference League draw: who Celtic could face & match details

Celtic will go into the Europa Conference League draw tomorrow with Ange Postecoglou’s side set to learn who they will face in the Play-Off Round of Europe’s third competition. Despite finishing on nine points, Celtic dropped out of the Europa League with a 3-2 win over Real Betis. The draw will take place at 1pm (UK Time) and Celtic will discover their opponents during the ceremony in Nyon, Switzerland.

There are some difficult ties in the hat and others that would be favourable for Ange and his team.

Tottenham’s status in the competition is still up in the air after their game against Rennes was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak at Spurs.

When will the games take place?

Ties will be played on the 17th and 24th of February and the winners will progress into the Round of 16. Celtic drop down as one of the Third Placed Europa League clubs and will go into the hat against sides that finished second in the Conference League.

Where is the Final?

The Final will be played at the Arena Kombëtare in Tirana, Albania. The game will be played on the 25th May 2022.
