Video: Scott Bain left with a burst nose after saving shot

Scott Bain has had very little to do this afternoon, watching as Benjamin Siegrist kept Celtic at bay at the other end. However, he was called into action when United made a quick breakaway up the park and Marc McNulty released a curled effort on target.

Bain appeared to get down smartly and block the stop. However, on watching the replay it appeared that Bain missed the ball completely, saving a goal by virtue of his face. The 29-year-old was left with a bloody nose, meaning he had to receive attention from the Celtic medical staff.

Celtic have been wasteful infront of goal, which has been the story of this season so far. There have been decent openings but ultimately the team are lacking in quality in the final third, meaning Rangers are just minutes away from winning the league with the game deadlocked at 0-0.
