Video: Scott McDonald’s Ibrox Belter, 12 Years Ago Today

27 December 2008 was a great day for Celtic fans as a tight Glasgow Derby game at Ibrox was settled by an incredible volley from Scott McDonald.

58 minutes were on the clock when Gary Caldwell sent a flighted ball into the direction of Samaras, who rose to flick a header to Scott McDonald at the edge of the box. The Australian killed the ball with his thigh, shrugged off Broadfoot and unleashed a volley into the far top corner.

Just listen to that reaction as the Broomloan Road Stand erupts in green and white ecstasy!
