Video: “Setting new standards before a day off,” Celtic Defender’s Rehabilitation Goes Up a Gear

Christopher Jullien has posted another video of him in the gym as he continues to work hard to get himself back to full fitness for the start of next season. Earlier in the week we should you his video where Jullien was taking ‘baby steps’ and he also got his first kick of a football in 2021.

Today’s video certainly shows progress as the Celtic central defender, a £7m signing from Toulouse in July 2019, intensifies the stress being placed on his injured knee. You will remember that he picked up the injury when colliding with the goalpost at Celtic Park at the end of last year against Dundee United, preventing Celtic conceding a goal but thereafter ruling the Frenchman out of the crucial match at Ibrox on 2 January, which Celtic really should have won.

“Setting new standards before a day off,” was the message from Christopher Jullien today. Enjoy your day off tomorrow big man!
