Video: Simpler Times, One Year Ago Today

On this day, 25 January, last year the world was a simpler place. COVID-19 hadn’t impacted Scottish society at that stage, crowds were present at football and Celtic were brushing aside domestic opposition.

It was on this day that Celtic eased past Ross County in the SPFL, with a comfortable 3-0 win at Paradise. Callum McGregor opened the scoring with a tidily finished penalty, before Odsonne Edouard, who was in fine form back then, provided a quick fire double in the second half.

Little did we know that these sort of victories would be few and far between a year later. Few could have expected to see Celtic win seven games from 21.
