Amongst all the news reports regarding the latest transfer news coming out of Celtic Park, there was one particular news flash on Sky Sports that would have produced a wry smile within the Celtic support…

With the news that Kyogo Furuhashi is leaving us, in the aftermath of our great win which has propelled us into the Champions League knockouts, there was a sinking feeling taking hold.
That bitter blow has been softened though, with the news that Jota will now be making a sensational return to the Hoops in the next 24 hours or so. Brendan Rodgers confirmed today at his media conference that it should be done this weekend and that both Jota and Kyogo will put the finishing touches on their respective moves.

But on Thursday night Sky Sports had a transfer bulletin regarding the club’s latest comings and goings and the Sky Sports news anchor, Mike Wedderburn, couldn’t help himself when he decided to wind the former Rangers striker up about the return of Portuguese superstar, Jota. The presenter asked the pundit who covers the Scottish Premiership for Sky Sports if the impending return had “ruined his night already” in the build-up to theRangers game versus Man Utd.
