With the news that Kyogo Furuhashi is leaving us, in the aftermath of our great win which has propelled us into the Champions League knockouts, there was a sinking feeling taking hold.

That bitter blow has been softened though, with the news that Jota will now be making a sensational return to the Hoops in the next 24 hours or so. Brendan Rodgers confirmed today at his media conference that it should be done this weekend and that both Jota and Kyogo will put the finishing touches on their respective moves.

Oh the anguish!

But on Thursday night Sky Sports had a transfer bulletin regarding the club’s latest comings and goings and the Sky Sports news anchor, Mike Wedderburn, couldn’t help himself when he decided to wind the former Rangers striker up about the return of Portuguese superstar, Jota. The presenter asked the pundit who covers the Scottish Premiership for Sky Sports if the impending return had “ruined his night already” in the build-up to theRangers game versus Man Utd.

Oh the anguish!

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
