Video: Supporters in Belfast celebrate Celtic’s 9IAR

YESTERDAY Celtic celebrated a record-equalling 9-in-a-row after winning the Premiership. Celtic were 13 points clear when the league was curtailed due to the global pandemic and in these unprecedented circumstances, the supporters have had to concede the celebrations of a record equalling 9IAR.

Having been so used to celebrate in the last nine years, this year has been confined to small celebrations at home. Although a few Belfast supporters took to their cars – on the way to essential shopping – to celebrate 9IAR.

Meanwhile in Derry, some Celtic supporters enjoyed our latest title success by setting off fireworks.

Whilst those that resent us claim a ‘tainted title’, it is worth reminding them how this title was won. Through attacking football, culminating in a lead that would have been extended in our remaining eight games.

This is our 9-in-a-row and one hurdle remains in front of us when the next season kicks off. Getting the ten.
