Conor Hazard was a surprise starter last night in the Europa League match against French title contenders Lille and he did his first team hopes no harm with an assured performance. The young goalkeeper from Downpatrick grew up supporting Celtic and has had to wait a long time for his debut. A graduate of the Cliftonville academy, Hazard has been waiting in the wings at Parkhead, but did enjoy a short spell at Dundee last season.
Here are some of his highlights with the dark blues: Incidentally The Celtic Star was calling for him to be brought into the team after the away defeat to Sparta Prague.
Surely Hazard, tother with Soro and Turnbull will all keep their places in Neil Lennon’s starting eleven on Sunday for the the must win match against kilmarnock?
