On This Day in 2023, Celtic beat theRangers 2-1 in the Scottish League Cup Final. Ange Postecoglou’s side sealed the first piece of their Treble thanks to a brace from Kyogo. The Japanese star’s first goal came just ahead of the break, which prompted a sensational half time show in the stands.

It will live long in the memory of Celtic fans that were there given how euphoric the scenes were, continuing all the way through until the second half kicked off. The Celtic end was vibrant from the start with a stunning pre-match display followed up with pyrotechnics. The game was probably the peak of Ange’s time at the club, the team were brilliant on the pitch going forward and the fans were absolutely united.
Hopefully Celtic will get back to Hampden this season.
