St Mirren were looking the more likely to start this game as Celtic struggled to string any meaningful passes together, but we’ve just seen a bit of magic from Tom Rogic to open the scoring.
His inclusion in the team has been the source of criticism in recent weeks and he’s not been at his best, but this is exactly what he brings to the side:

The ball is fizzed into the feet of Rogic, who turns inside the penalty and shifts the ball onto his right foot before firing beyond Alnwick and into the far corner.

You can see exactly what he wants to do as soon as he gets it, but stopping him is easier said than done and it’s a brilliant curled effort that leaves the keeper no chance.
