David Turnbull celebrated his double of Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year by scoring the opener in this evening’s game against St Johnstone. After Zlamal gave away an indirect free-kick, Celtic had the tough chance of scoring from inside the box.
The Saints players appeared to be ready for the jump as Turnbull and Christie stood over the ball but they were taken by surprise as Christie’s touched the ball into the path of Turnbull, who scored after drilling the ball into the net.
