Reo Hatate opened the scoring for Celtic this afternoon with a wonderful strike.
Kyogo played a great pass into space for the advancing Daizen Maeda, who flashed a cross into the box. James Forrest elected to dummy the shot and let the ball roll, knowing Kyogo had made his way into the box. A defender got in the way and set the ball out to Aaron Mooy. Mooy slid a pass to Hatate, who smashed the ball into the net.
Kyogo made it 2-0 to Celtic by finding himself on the end of a ball from Matt OโRiley. The Danish U21 got himself in a good position and allowed Greg Taylor to play him into the space by the line before flashing a cross into the six yard box. Kyogo, who scored midweek, made no mistake and took the acclaim of the support.
Kyogo made it 3-0 to Celtic with another tidy finish.
Aaron Mooy played a phenomenal pass to slice through the St Johnstone defence before James Forrest pushed forward. His cross,m was hit towards the front post and it was duly attacked by the Japanese striker.
Reo Hatate made it 4-0 with a slotted finish. Once again, Celtic pushed forward with intent and the stand-in right back is relishing his new role. Callum McGregor clipped the ball into Hatateโs path, who sized up whether to pass or shoot before firing the ball beyond the Saints goalie.
