Video: Watch Celtic train at Lennoxtown ahead of Dingwall trip

Brendan Rodgers put the Celtic squad through their paces up at the club’s Lennoxtown base ahead of our clash with Ross County tomorrow lunchtime. Brendan and the Bhoys visit the Highlands on Saturday and will be hoping to continue our unbeaten form in the Scottish Premiership this season.

After a poor showing and insipid all-round day at Easter Road last Saturday, we managed to galvanize ourselves by winning 2-1 against Stephen Robinson and his St Mirren side at Celtic Park mid-week. Despite going a goal down, we never gave up and proded and probed until Oh Hyeon-gyu fired us ahead with less than ten minutes remaining in the match.

The long trip up north to Dingwall is one that certainly challenges the players and coaching staff. They’re historically always difficult and tricky fixtures up that way and the weather conditions tend to play a part on occasion. This weekend will be no different and the squad will have to grind out another result on the road at an extremely challenging away venue once more.

With our squad playing a pivotal role in our victory throughout the week just past, Brendan will have to make sure that he gets the players up for what could prove to be a potential banana skin. Malky MacKay will set his team up to defend strongly and be unforgiving in the tackle and we must not shy away from that tomorrow. These are the games that decide the destination of the League Crown.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
