Video: Watch Ryan Christie put Celtic ahead after penalty confusion

If Ross County wanted to get anything out of this game, they had to keep it tight early on. Celtic have been utterly dominant in the opening ten minutes and have their reward.

There was some confusion with the penalty award, it looked like the ref has given it for a handball which would’ve been incredibly harsh, but the replays showed Lewis Morgan being wiped out.

Ryan Christie’s effort was poor, but he showed enough composure to stay calm and put the rebound away:

County’s defence has been dreadful all season and they look to be struggling already when they are trying to keep it tight. This goal should coax them out to play a bit more, so there should be even more space for Celtic to exploit as the game goes on.
