Video: “We’ve got to start getting results”, Ange reflects after Hearts loss

Ange Postecoglou has refused to offer excuses about his team selections or conceding from a set-piece tonight at Tynecastle. Celtic fell to a late goal from John Souttar but Postecoglou didn’t question the decision to award the free-kick, the lack of a card to Andy Halliday or the fact Celtic had a perfectly valid goal ruled out.

The manager needs to be supported by the Board. The first team need five players in the door as soon as possible in order to be competitive for Europe. A central midfielder, a centre back, a right back, a winger and a goalkeeper are all needed in the next few days or else this could end up being another horrorshow of a season.

  1. What is the point of questioning a non booking or non free kick. It doesn’t change the result, this sort of normality in th shame should be challenged at club to SFA level. The pitch is all the same level but the rules seem to be open for suitability for some.

  2. Ralston has performed immeasurably better than Taylor in the past 2 matches and the RB lack of depth is as, if not more, pressing IMO!

Keeper is vital though, how any foot ball professional can look at our squad and not make that their first priority is beyond me!!
