Video: What Could Have Been, Griffiths Thunders Rodgers’ Celtic To Victory

On this day in 2017, Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side were struggling at Dingwall. The team, who had made history as Invincible treble winners the previous season, were having an off day.

Brendan turned to his bench and introduced Leigh Griffiths in the 69th minute. Having replaced Moussa Dembele, it took the Scottish striker less than ten minutes to thunder home this stunning free kick and win the match for Celtic.

One can’t help but wonder what could have been for Griffiths in the Hoops. Although, his contribution has still been considerable.
