As expected it’s a welcome return this afternoon for Celtic TV’s Unique Angle video from last night’s 2-0 win over Hamilton – Celtic’s first win in five games in 2021.
The goals from Leigh Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard were both decent enough but Celtic really should have won the game more comfortably. Scott Bain in the Celtic goals kept only his second clean sheet for the club – the other being against Aberdeen – but he was never really called into action.
Enjoy the Unique Angle folks and hopefully we’re going to see this becoming a regular feature on The Celtic Star again!
In other news – anyone who has watched the incidents from the Hibs v theRangers game last night will be shaking their heads at Kevin Clancy’s two decisions that changed the game and allowed the Ibrox side to leave Easter Road with the points. Morelos – yet again stamped on an opponent and yet again a Scottish referee failed to show him a red card. He should have been sent off at Tannadice a few weeks back for a deliberate elbow offence.
Time for the whole of Scottish football to stand up against this thug Morelos. pic.twitter.com/nE19IEf0HX

TheRangers have not had a man sent off all season nor have they conceded a penalty. Have you seen Clancy’s failure to do both of these things last night? Stonewaller penalty and a clear red card. Consider what Nir Bitton got sent off for at Ibrox – denying Morelos out on the wing a clear goalscoring chance – then look at that push in the back right on front of goals last night. The Aberdeen dismissal against them was also much softer than the call last night – the call that never came from Kevin Clancy.
Just because Celtic are enduring a terrible season doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be calling this out for what it is.
