Catch up on the the action from the Penny Cars Stadium in Airdrie as Celtic B team were frustratingly denied their first win of the season in the Southern League after a late equaliser by East Kilbride. Great to see plenty of Celtic supporter at the game and they must have thought that Owen Moffat’s goal in the fist half was going to be enough to give us the three points. But Craig Malcolm’s late equaliser with the last kick of the ball was a hard one for Celtic B side to take.
Incidentally theRangers have got off to a flyer winning both of their opening two matches in this division.
Here are the highlights from Saturday…
It is also worth mentioning that Fran Alonso’s exciting Celtic FC Women’s side will also play their home games at the Penny Cars Stadium at Airdrie this season and everyone should try to get along to a few games to support Jim McIntyre’s Celtic B Team of the women’s side this season.
“It’s hard to take the end part of the game because the players were outstanding. So I am delighted for the players in the difference from last week and how quickly they have learned,” Tommy McIntyre said after the match. You can watch his post-match interview below.
