St Etienne’s William Saliba rivals Odsonne Edouard in the Final

There is the argument that we don’t really want Odsonne to win this or indeed any other awards and he’s doing rather well in The Celtic Star Player of the Year Awards too – you can vote for that below too and it literally takes one second to do so. Last time we checked over 8400 of you had voted with the choices being Odsonne Edouard, Callum McGregor, Scott Brown and Fraser Forster.

William Saliba, the Arsenal defender on loan at St Etienne, is a decent enough player but he’s up against a very special talent indeed. Odsonne Edouard deserves to win this poll on merit and not to be denied the award because of the ‘obsessed’ getting involved to vote against a Celtic player. It would be them getting revenge for Beautiful Sunday and the rest of the gaols Odsonne has scored against the Ibrox 2012 club. Vote now folks…
