Watch: ‘Impressive’ Celtic Reserves Beat Chelsea U23s

A goal from Scott Robertson gave Celtic a deserved lead after 67 minutes and it would be enough to give Tommy McIntyre’s side an impressive win in the friendly clash.

Robertson who made his first-team bow in December scored after making a wonderful run towards the Chelsea goal, creating space and slotting the ball into the far corner of the net.

There were also starts in London for Jack Hendry, who is expected to leave the club this month on loan after failing to breakthrough under Neil Lennon as well as Lee O’Connor who is also expected to leave on loan to earn more first team exposure.
