“Watching him training, he’s ready to go, and he’ll be important for us,” Ange Postecoglou

Great to see David Turnbull training today although you’ll probably need a sharper eye that me to see Kyogo – please let us know if you spot him in the training video Celtic released today.

At today’s Media Conference Ange Postecoglou updated up on both players, as well as providing information on the short term injuries with a few coming back who were missing on Monday night’s Scottish Cup win at Tannadice against Dundee United, and one dropping out tomorrow with a slight problem after the win on Tayside.

“Jota and Liel Abada are good, they’ve trained all week. Obviously they missed Monday night, but it wasn’t anything too serious,” Ange said.

“The only one not available is Jamesy Forrest, he pulled up a bit sore from the other night again. It’s nothing too serious, but he’ll miss tomorrow. David Turnbull is available. He’s trained over the last 10 days, so he’s available.

“He was fantastic for us in the first half of the year and it was disappointing for him that he got a fairly significant injury that’s kept him out for a while, but he’s worked hard in rehab and I know he’s itching to get back out there.

“He’s been training really well over the last seven to 10 days and I’ve probably been a bit conservative with him as I could maybe have thrown him in last week.

“But in watching him training, he’s ready to go, and he’ll be important for us. He’s a quality player, he’s a goal threat. He’s good on set-pieces and he adds something to our team.”

Here’s today’s training video and images from the club and also another chance to watch Ange’s media conference…
