Brendan Rodgers firmly believes this could be his most successful season to date with the Hoops as he responded to critics targeting Celtic’s trophy achievements…

Celtic only require a draw at Tannadice this afternoon to secure their fourth consecutive title and have the chance to achieve their sixth Treble in nine years in next month’s Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen.
Brendan’s 11th trophy can be won today
Brendan Rodgers is in line to win his 11th trophy over his two spells as Celtic boss, meanwhile a victory versus the Tangerines will secure a 55th league championship for the club.

As the dominant league leaders approach yet another landmark season, some detractors have argued that it could be “the most tedious” perfect season in history.
Rodgers, who has the chance to be the first Hoops gaffer to secure three Trebles, rejects that idea, vigorously defending his side’s unwavering pursuit of success.
“I’ve had two different teams now”
He told Celtic TV: “If I look over both spells, for me, it’s been really satisfying. Why? Because I’ve had two different teams now. Obviously Callum, James, Bainy has been involved, Tony… apart from that, there’s not been too many that have been over the course of my two spells.”

“So taking two different teams to these points, it’s so hard work. I think people who don’t recognise it, they don’t understand it or don’t have the knowledge of what it takes to actually win… we see it throughout the world, teams that spend money and then are deemed to have the best squads – but they don’t always win.”
“What we have here is a culture that is built around winning”
“What we have here is a culture that is built around winning and then what that takes, and obviously, the biggest word of that, which is a real challenge, is consistency. So you can have quality players, but if they’re not consistent and the mentality and their work, and their ideas and how they play and how they train, then it’s a challenge.”

“Probably my BEST season here if we can finish off with these two trophies”
“But for me, it’s been so satisfying this season and I’ll become even more satisfied and probably my BEST season here if we can finish off with these two trophies. So, I’ve been delighted with all the work we’ve put in and how we recovered from setbacks, but it is not easy, I can guarantee you that. So much goes into it. It’s 24/7 at a club like this here, also the expectations, the pressures. So these players have dealt with that so, so well.”
💬 “We have to be at the same levels of what we’ve been in the last couple of games to get the result.”
