Celtic will face Yokohama F Marinos this morning in the first game of their tour of Japan. The Scottish Champions will face the Japanese Champions in Yokohama as Celtic prepare for the start of their season with a visit to Asia.
It will be a return to the J-League for Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi, Yuki Kobayashi, Tomoki Iwata and Reo Hatate as two of Ange Postecoglou’s former employers meet.
Team News
Brendan will have a fair complement of stars to choose from with no fresh injury concerns arising from the trip to Portugal. Alistair Johnston and Mikey Johnston remain sidelined. The game may come too soon for Cameron Carter-Vickers, who is recovering from a knee injury.
You would expect that we will start to see a better idea of what changes Rodgers has made to the team that Ange put together. It would also afford the manager to cast his eye over areas of the pitch that he may think require improvements.
Kick Off Time
The game will kick-off at 11am (Celtic Park Time).
Where to Watch
The game can be watched on Celtic TV, allowing subscribers to watch the action from the Nissan Stadium.
