£17,897.60 collected and distributed – Green Brigade reveal ‘where your monetary donations have gone’

TOGETHER with numerous van loads full of food parcels donated by the Celtic support at the Green Brigade’s Food Drive event at the end of last month, the Celtic supporters’ group also raised £17,897.60 in cash donations via their collection.

Walking up to the ground that day – we went from the bus park behind the Jock Stein stand over to the nearby Tesco and back again, dropping of a few bags to the Green Brigade on the way, we saw these young supporters standing out there in the wind and rain doing their bit to help raise this money. It was impressive.

Today the Green Brigade have released details of where this money has gone and it what has been a hard few weeks for them we really shout applaud and appreciate this very ‘Celtic’ activity from the mostly young Hoops fans.

Well done to the Green Brigade and to everyone who contributed to their 2019 Food Drive. This is how it looks to be Celtic.
