22% Of Celts Got Their Wish, 100% Will Want The Same Thing Tonight

Dundee visited Ibrox last night, where the hosts knew that anything less than victory would hand Celtic the title.

It looked like the ribbons were going to be put on the trophy and engraved with Celtic’s name once more, when the Dee went 2-0 up, but champagne was kept on ice as the visitors later succumbed to an emphatic defeat in the second half.

Ahead of kick off, a poll was conducted to get the thoughts of the Celtic faithful. Would they rather Dundee lost, so that the SPFL title could be won in front of supporters following Celtic’s game at Rugby Park tonight or would they rather it was clinched yesterday? The results were conclusive.

Just 22% of fans wanted Dundee to lose, while 78% hoped for victory. Regardless, the title needs to be clinched in the next game or two, and tonight every Celt will be wanting the trophy confirmed.

The Bhoys can win 3 in a row with a draw or win at Kilmarnock.
