‘We can get a good result in Italy,’ Elyounoussi

MOHAMED ELYOUNOUSSI knew that there was plenty of quality in the Celtic squad before he arrived on his season long loan from Southampton but even allowing for that, he’s admitted that there’s one player who has blown him away playing alongside in the Hoops.

Elyounoussi has been surprised and somewhat stunned at the quality of Celtic’s Star Man Jamesy Forrest.

“I’ve been really impressed with James. He’s an amazing player. He set me up for my first goal against Hibs at the weekend with a great delivery and he is a top player.

“He’s a brilliant boy off the pitch as well. I enjoy playing with him.

“I knew that Celtic had a lot of quality before I arrived. Our top level is really good and if we maintain those levels, if not get even better, we can get a good result in Italy.

“If we can get a positive result against Lazio we will be in a strong position in the group. The manager will come up with a plan to get the result. We have to be positive and try and get on the front foot, Elyounoussi said to the Media, as reported by Scottish Sun.

“We know the level of ability we have and the quality we have throughout this team. We believe that we can cause any team problems.

“These are the types of games I came to Celtic for and I’m really looking forward to it.”
