Aberdeen in turmoil ahead of Celtic’s trip to Pittodrie

Aberdeen were booed from the pitch this evening after a 1-1 draw at home to Dundee. The Reds that braved the conditions were treated to a poor display as Barry Robson’s side dropped more points.

The former Celtic midfielder was the target of chants at full-time of “We want Robson Out” as a dissatisfied Pittodrie reacted to another poor result. The manager is under severe pressure after just one year in the role.

Bojan Miovski’s first half penalty was cancelled out by Les Ashcroft’s second half header, which leaves the Dons in 8th position. The pressure has been mounting on Aberdeen this season after the failed to build upon impressive European displays with results domestically.

This weekend, the Scottish Champions travel to the North East as they look to inflict more suffering on the Dons. Brendan Rodgers’ team were not well received by the whole stadium after the win over Ross County.

Celtic will hope to have more additions in the door in the final days of the window before the transfer market shuts.
