Alistair Johnston in 6 months has won more medals than James Tavernier in 8 years

Celtic’s right back holds the most important stat…more medals won in 6 months that theRangers right back has won in 8 years!

Alistair Johnston has been a big hit since signing for the club in January. His form has been so impressive that we’ve almost forgotten about his predecessor Josip Juranovic. The Canadian international fought back from injury to pick up a Scottish Cup winners medal as the Treble was clinched against Inverness at Hampden yesterday evening.

That of course means he has now won three honours in just five months at the club, a very impressive stat. Compare that to poor old captain fantastic, super Tavpen over at Ibrox. The English right back has been at Ibrox for eight years and has picked up just two major honours and is somehow regarded as one of their legends.

Yes his personal stats might be decent, aided of course by an incredibly generous amount of spot kicks, but the only one that matter is medals, and AJ leads him in that department in just under six months at the club. Levels and all that.

In fact Josip Juranovic left five months ago and in his 18 months at the club he too won more than the blue Cafu, thanks to making ten league appearances before his departure.

Our right back and their right back were sitting by the fire, our right back said to their right back my medal count is higher…
